Prosser | PRIME AE was responsible for the development of the master plan and detail landscape architectural design for the many lifestyle amenities and design elements including parks, green spaces, a trail network, playgrounds, picnic areas, streetscapes, and a central community and pool/fitness center.
Asturia reflects the synthesis of consensus-driven design overlaid with the rural landscape. Asturia is intended to unite long-term economic goals and healthy living with environmental awareness and stewardship. The community is comprised of a variety of neo-traditional and contemporary neighborhoods that offer a mix of housing types to implement Pasco County’s vision of walkable and diverse residential communities, commerce and employment, accessible recreational areas and preservation of natural systems to ensure that regional greenways are maintained.
The cornerstone of Asturia is a set of fundamental themes which embody the philosophy and experience of the Developer’s more than five decades of planning and building communities in harmony with the environment. By not focusing solely on the entitlement process, the benchmark for Asturia is how well its neighborhoods meet these fundamental themes which are the foundation for its long-term success.
