Asset Evaluations (AEs)

Asset Evaluations involve inspecting and evaluating an installation’s facility assets. Facilities are evaluated for their physical condition, functional adequacy, compliance with safety and siting criteria and potential for alternative use. Dimensions, area, uses and users are confirmed. The information is commonly used in conjunction with an in-depth Facilities Evaluation to update real property records on the internet Naval Facilities Assets Date Store (iNFADS).

Each building, structure and utility has a Real Property Record Inventory Card within the iNFADS database. Once the data is validated, it is used to manage facilities throughout the entire Navy and serves as a baseline when determining the amount of funding received by each installation for Operation and Maintenance (O&M) requirements.

Prosser | PRIME AE created, implemented and managed multi-person teams concurrently in the field to conduct Asset Evaluations at three major facilities in the NAVFAC Southeast AOR. Over 800 Assets Evaluations validating property records of real estate, facilities and utilities were completed. The iNFADS records were also updated to reflect the information and changes found during the evaluations.

Prosser | PRIME AE relies on its proven, data gathering, QC and logistical management process to a ensure accurate and timely collection and entry of data.
